Are work we have a I 600 which is setup
as a forklift, started knocking bad so
took pan down and found a broken crank
and upon disassembly found the center
main bearing spun and damaged the
blocks. I'm guessing this extra movement
is what led to the broken crank. I'm
told that this tractor is basically a
d14 or d15, does anyone know of any
companies that offer remanufactured
engines or such. If it were my own I
would buy a used block and new crank and
put one together but at work time is
money and we need the forklift so reman
would be preferable to just bolt in. A
few calls to the usual salvage places
like all states ag haven't yet found
anything

I would say your forklift has the 160 engine the same motor that's in the D15 Series II that'll be a little hard to find but the 149 engine from a D15 or D14 will work. The motor from a
D10 or D12 will also bolt right in just won't have quite as much power. If you can't find anything send me an email and I can give you some leads on where to look.

Yes it's the 160 engine, for what it does I don't think less power would matter one bit thank you for that info
