model B final drive

Replacing the bearing & race on my final drive pinion shaft & axle. Can the races be driven in place with a maul or do I have to get them pressed in??

I use a brass punch and a 2 pound hammer.

Always put the race in the freezer at least a couple hours, then quickly install it, they will go in easy.
