Allis I-600 serial number

Is there somewhere that I can find out the year of a I-600 or someone able to tell me the year.

That doesn't appear to be the serial #? Where did you find it? I-600's start at 1002 and I-600 forklifts start at 1001.

Its on 600 forklift maybe I don't have the right tag but according to my manual that supposed to the serial number.

Ok I figured out the problem. I looked at my D15 forklift and the serial tag shows 3Y-687AC kind of like yours and the deal is that it isn't an Allis I600, it is an industrial forklift built by Henry Manufacturing. The serial tag says Henry on it. In 1968 Allis bought out Henry and after that is when they made the I600. Check the serial # on the flange of the torque tube where it bolts to the motor on the carb side. It will be stamped D15 #####, mine is D15 16334 which is a 1963.

I should correct myself. I don't think they were actually Industrial models, they were D15 farm tractors converted by Henry.

Looked at it some more today found on the torque tube. It says 600 1521 FL. Which makes me think its a 1966 according to TractorData.com under I-600 tractor. Could be wrong I'm also guessing that FL means fork lift.
