Collector Profile for Rodney McFarland | I HAVE A '58 841-21 FORD DIESEL THAT I REALLY ENJOY WORKING, PLAYING AND PULLING WITH, SO MUCH IN FACT THAT I AM CURRENTLY DOING A GROUNDUP RESTORATION. THE ENGINE WAS SO WORN THAT WHEN I TOOK THE PISTONS OUT THE RINGS HAD OVER .040 OF AN INCH END GAP, AND I STILL TOOK A SECOND PLACE TROPHY. I CAN'T WAIT TO FINISH THE ENGINE AND FEEL THE POWER THAT IT IS DESIGNED TO HAVE. I AM A PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN FOR GM, NO I DON'T HAVE A SAMPSON SO PLEASE NO FORD JOKES, AND WOULD LIKE TO HELP PEOPLE WITH THEIR TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. AS YOU KNOW NO ONE CAN LOVE OLD TRACTORS WITHOUT KNOWING SOMEONE ELSE AND MY GOOD FRIEND MIKE WALLACE LOVES HIS OLD TRACTORS, HE HAS A F-30, 2 WD-45, AND HIS GRANDADS WD ALONG WITH AN IMPRESSIVE AMOUNT MATCHING EQUIPMENT. HE HAS KEPT ME SO BUSY AT AUCTIONS THAT I HAVE TO TAKE SOME WEEKENDS OFF OF WORKING ON MY TOYS JUST TO HELP HIM GO GET MORE. I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR TRACTOR CHAT AND AM HAPPY TO SEE SOMETHING AS ARCHAIC AS AN ANTIQUE TRACTOR LOVER BEING ABLE TO INTERACT OVER A WWW LIKE THIS. I HAVE A WIFE WITH TWO BOYS, THE BOYS ARE 6 AND 4 AND ENJOY THEIR PEDAL TRACTOR OCCASIONAL LY BUT I DON'T THINK THEY LIKE THE PEDALING PART, NEEDS AN ENGINE. MY WIFE IS SO SO ABOUT TRACTORS BUT I THINK SHE IS FALLING FOR AN ALLIS G. MAYBE? Rodney McFarland , entered 2000-02-17 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
