Collector Profile for David Paul | I live in northwest South Carolina and am married to wife Ruth and have one daughter Rachel (9 months). I am a Minneapolis-Moline collector there are not very many of us here in SC. I have a fully restored 1954 UB Diesel (For pictures and story see July/Aug 1995 Antique Power), Restored ZASI Military tractor (Yes it is army green !), and unrestored 445, a MM corn sheller, and my current project a MM 403 power unit from a saw mill. I also am quite fond of Ford products so we have quite a few old Ford cars and trucks around here too. We live in a 150 year old farm house which we restored ourselves and also have 30 acres here so the tractors do get to work. I am an Electrical Engineer by day and a jack of all trades during the evenings and weekends. As a friend and I discussed one day we are engineers so we can afford to be farmers. Of course we have dogs, cats, horses, and chickens here too. I am pretty good at fixing things and finding parts so if I can help anyone out just let me know. I also sell tractors, parts, equipment, trucks, and cars on the side so I may be able to help out. Most of the tractors in this part of the country are either green or red. I am also the Secretary for our local club the Pioneer Power Assn. We have a pull once a month spring thru fall and a big three day show during labor day weekend.
