Collector Profile for Tom Taylor | My name is Tom Taylor and I am retired and living in Heber springs Arkansas. I started driving a tractor ( MM UTS) when I was 12. At 14 I went to work after school and Saturdays for the John Deere dealer in Spearman Texas doing odd jobs such as steam cleaning and painting the traded in tractors. soon I was delivering new model D's and picking up the trade in units out in the middle of nowwhere by myself. Can you imangine OSHA letting a 14 year old do that now? I spent four years in the USAF, then 2 years of college, then worked for IBM for 30 years. I retired in 86 to Arkansas and started collecting a few tractors. I have 2 John Deere H, one Farmall H, one Massy Harris 22,one 8N ford, one Case VAC, one Allis Chalmers AC. I am working on a 19 52 model D John Deere. I also have several which I have not started on including a MM model R, a Farmall f14, a Farmall B, an Earthmaster and a one row Avery. I then have my working tractor a 3000 series Ford . Enjoy talking to anyone about any kind of tractors. Tom Taylor , AR, entered 2000-02-17 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
