I was born on a small general farm in southern Ohio and moved to a small town when I was 10 years old. Worked for farmers around the town doing the normal things kids of the time were expected to do,shocking wheat,working in tobacco,hoeing ,setting and ect,putting up hay and many other chores. After a tour in the Navy during the Korean war I went to work for General Electric Aircraft Engine.Ihave been retired for 7 years, but still do some part time Ind.Eng.consulting. I have been lucky enough to be paid while sight seeing in Russia, Germany,Croatia,Poland and Turkey.My son and I own a Keck Gonnerman steam engine,a 1924 IHC 15-30,A 1937 F-20, A 1947 M-H 44-6 and are working on a 1926 fordson. we also have a clover huller a threasher, a corn shredder and a 1937 JD combine. Over the years we have also accumulated several antique circa 1915 1920 gas engines Bill Dean, Oh, entered 2000-02-19

He has patiently suffered my incessant chit chat on the subject of tractors for longer than I care to remember, and on many occasions he has put himself out, dropped what ever it was he was doing, to come and lend a hand cranking handles, or loading a find onto a trailer.
